"Framework to mitigate the long-term impact of COVID-19 on women engaged in diabetes research"

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in disproportionate impacts to women, including female diabetes researchers, due to the sudden, great shifts indemands required for caregiving. This has the potential to widen the already existing gender gap in academic medicine, and its effects have the potential to be felt for years to come. This study uses concept mapping, a mixed-methods, participant-centered method to understand the priorities of female diabetes researchers so that future efforts designed to support these researchers can do so in a manner that addresses the specific needs of this group
