Dr. Amy McQueen is a Professor of Medicine in the division of General Medical Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. McQueen has been a CDTR member since 2015 and utilized CDTR resources to develop her work in diabetes and obesity prevention, diabetes disparities and inequalities, and more.

Examining unmet basic needs and healthcare gaps among Medicaid beneficiaries with Type 2 diabetes
This study was funded by the WU-CDTR pilot and feasibility program in 20… The project proposes a basic needs-focused navigation intervention designed to resolve needs to improve health behaviors and health outcomes among adults with type 2 diabetes, compared to usual care. This study will demonstrate our ability to identify type 2 diabetics from clinical data within a Medicaid-managed care population, reach them by phone, and engage them in research.
