“The impact of sustained vs. temporary price changes for healthy and unhealthy foods: policy implications for low-income families”

The purpose of this study is to produce estimates of elasticity of demand for sugar sweetened beverage (SSBs) in the presence of a tax, describe the impact of changes in SSB consumption on other food spending, and assess the potential for SSB taxes to reduce obesity and diabetes inlow-income populations.
