On December 10th from 12 pm-1 pm, tune in to check out Gillian Bartlett-Esquilant’s, PhD lecture: “The Role of Obesity in Prescribing and Health Outcomes: Implications for Patients with Diabetes”.  This lectureship series is for all interested in practice and/or research in diabetes and obesity prevention and control. All are welcome to attend.

Objectives for the lecture include:

1) understand the role of obesity and how it impacts treatment and care for other conditions

2) understand how obesity bias negatively impacts care for other conditions and

3) understand the implications for patients with diabetes and research for patients with diabetes.

The series aims to increase collaboration across disciplines, promote resource-sharing, allowing sharing of works in progress, and offer presentations on a plethora of hot topics, best practices, evaluation of translational technologies, current research, and opportunities for advancement in the field.
