This session of the Know your Level of Community Engagement series, Using Community Based Participatory Research in Indian Country will be presented by Jenifer Van Schuyver, an MSW Candidate and a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Explain why CBPR is the standard research practice within Indigenous communities.
  2. Identify tribal specific IRB’s and how to start those processes.
  3. Understand how CBPR research is used through an individual case study.
