Fostering the next generation of diabetes research to achieve health equity.
The WU-CDTR is a collaboration between Washington University in St. Louis, the Council on Black Health, housed at Drexel University, and the University of Missouri, Columbia. We work to support a national network of investigators conducting cutting-edge research on the root causes of diabetes inequities.
As the lead for the Solutions for Diabetes in Black Americans core, I see this role as a rubric for finding ways to transfer what we do know about broader solutions to other researchers who are interested in being effective in this space.
