The goals of this pilot were to understand methods for preventing gestational diabetes and to: 1) introduce the potential role and value of computational modeling to the researchers involved with the multisite study, and 2) improve a simulation model of maternal weight gain/loss during pregnancy by revising and testing the model against experimental data.
