This study was a first step toward determining the factors that affect translation of the interventions recommended by the Institute of Medicine among Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) providers, and to further inform the development of an effective dissemination and implementation plan to prepare CACFP providers to adapt current practices to adhere to the imminent nutrition and physical activity standards changes, before the interventions are mandated through federal and state policy.
