The Diabetes & Obesity Collaborative Lectureship Series is a cross-disciplinary lectureship, focused on type 2 diabetes prevention and control. The series aims to increase collaborations across disciplines, promote resource-sharing, allow sharing of works in progress, and offer presentations on a plethora of hot topics, best practices, evaluation of translational technologies, current research, and opportunities for advancement in the field. The objectives of this lecture include 1) to determine the SEE-Diabetes information needs of people with diabetes aged 65 and older 2) to determine the prevalence of patient portal usage and reading clinic notes among people with diabetes and to compare the differences between the younger group and the older group 3) to explore patients’ experience of reading clinic notes focusing on older adults.
